Character Skirts Direct Our Story
Character Skirts Direct is based in Birmingham in the West Midlands, the manufacturing heart of the UK.
We started making bespoke Character skirts and costumes to order for local dance schools in 1995. Due to increased demand, we were able to expand, and in 2002 we set up production specialising in producing a quality Character skirt, made right here in the UK.
Realising that Character skirts are a hard to shop for item, we set out to offer a range of sizes and colour options available to order from stock. Our skirts are available in six sizes and we offer 5 colour options, all available for immediate delivery, no waiting for a ‘made to order’ skirt which can take weeks to arrive.
Our unique design with its elasticated waistband offers the younger dancer ease of dressing and allows for growing room.
